This exciting competition offered footy fans the chance to win big, with the grand prize being none other than the 2024 SsangYong Musso valued at $45,000.
Each week during the 2024 season, those who correctly guessed the AFL's leading goal kicker - and their goal tally - for a home and away round went into the draw to win a new SsangYong Musso at the end of the season.
Congratulations to Tom and his young family who are now the proud owners of Drive's Car of the Year 2024 – Best Dual-Cab Ute Under $50K.
Your new Musso Ultimate really is the ultimate prize with comfort and convenience features you'd expect in a luxury SUV with the off-road capabilities of a 4x4 dual cab. The metallic black ute with black 18-inch alloy wheels not only looks sharp, the tech inside is pretty impressive too with dual 12.3-inch screens (with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity), dual-zone fully automatic air-conditioning, premium leather seats, heated and vented front seats and more. Check out the full spec here.
Adam: "So who was your main man who got you across the line in the competition?"
Tom: "Charlie Curnow from the Blues. I picked him to have 5 one week which he got with about a minute to go so that was a nice little win to get but I never thought I was going to be a chance to win the car."
Adam: "So you're a couple of minutes into the drive now how's the SsangYong feeling?
Tom: "Yeah really nice to drive, very smooth. I didn't think I would ever see myself driving a ute, but I can certainly see myself driving this one. Particularly if these seat warmers keep my backside as warm as it is."
Adam: "So what does this mean for the family?"
Tom: "It's massive for us. Obviously awesome having a little one around, but with the wife on maternity leave, this car is just going to make a massive difference for us. So driving the big SsangYong is just a huge win for the family as a whole."
Adam: "Any final thoughts? It's been a bit overwhelming, but you look pretty happy."
Tom: "Just a massive thanks to SsangYong and SEN. It is life changing, particularly in the short and long-term so I can't thank SEN and I can't thank SsangYong enough for this opportunity."
Enjoy your new Musso.
